Jin Mao Building- Shanghai

Jin Mao Building located at Shanghai symbol architecture of Shanghai marching to 21^st century. This building the first tallest in the country and third tallest in the world and hosting the tallest hotel ever built. This building designed by US architectural firm firm skidmore Owings & Merilland was built by Shanghai Jian Gong Group which the first Chinese National Construction Group. Jin Mao Building are luxurious Complex which combines office space with commercial space, a shopping mall and entertainment function. The three basement levels house electric facilities, service facilities, parking spaces and a good court. It is a superb design combining elements of traditional Chinese architectute and a ghotic influence to produce. Then, the design around the theme of the Chinese Pagoda and number eight. The lowest segment of the building is sixteen stories high and each succed segment is 1/8^th smaller than its prodesser. There are two evelator with a speed of 9.1 m/sec are working to transport visitor in seconds from the first basement to the sightseeing floor and looking around and to the far distance it have a whole view of new Shanghai. The tower is built around an octagon shaped concrete sher well core surrounded by 8 exterior composite super columns and 8 exterior steel columns. Three sets of 8 two-story high outrigger trusses. The observation decks are 88^th floor houses the skywalk, a 1,520m² indoor observation decks with a capacity of 1,000 people. It is safe from earthquake because there are an advanced structural engineering system which fortifies it against typhoon winds of up to 200 km/h (with the top swaying by a maximum of 75cm) and earthquakes of up to 7 on the Ritcher scale. The steel shafts have shear joints that act as shock absorted to cushion the lateral forces imposed by winds and quakes, and the swimming pool on the 57^th floor is said to act as a passive damper

My Reason

I would like to choose Jin Mao building in Shanghai because this building are very beautiful and there is has a theme of Chinese Pagoda although there are the third tallest in the world. They still used pattern of traditional building and that building symbol architecture of Shanghai marching to 21^st century and it is a wonderful place with their symbol of country. From this building, I can see whole view of Shanghai when I was the on there. Because of that, I can see view of Shanghai even I can’t travel all the town of Shanghai. One of advantage at the building that is has an earthquake safety and if I could travel there, and not worried when I in the Jin Mao building. That building has a many facilities I can get it without go to any place and I can spend time at the building for a lot of time.

My dream house.

My dream house is a pattern of house village because it’s a unic pattern but I would like to combine with modern house in the middle of house. My dream house will located at village but not far from town. I love to make house from great plank and there is two floor. Outside the house still used the pattern of village but inside will make the modern house. Landscape of my house I would like to make a garden with full flower at many type and at the back I garden full of plantation such as mango, rambutan, grape, cucumber, tomatoes, banana, chilies and other. So, I do not to buy it because I can pick up at my garden. At the front my house, I will make court to make sure every evening I can play with my family and go exercise everyday. My house has an eight room because I have a big family. At the second floor has a six room, and another room at the first floor. My living room at the first floor. At my living, have a television, radio and magazine. The other room, I can make a library to make sure my family love to read. I hope my dream will come true.
